Approximately 30-40 hours per week, negotiable and depending upon the mixture of skills. The ideal candidate will have a mixture (but not necessarily individually essential) of the following:

Be a star at customer interactions

Able to run with gym initiatives and organised events

Able to take group fitness sessions
This is a hands-on role, interacting with members and creating a welcoming, friendly and vibrant culture within the gym.
We are looking for the right combination of energy, creativity, a bubbly, friendly disposition and exceptional customer service skills. A passion for fitness and well-being, as well as a “can do attitude” in terms of helping all aspects of the business, are essential.
An understanding or experience of Group Fitness (e.g. Les Mills, BodyFit, F45 etc) and creativity and proficiency in the use of social media would be an advantage.
Free gym membership. This is a great opportunity for entry into, or transition within, the gym industry. Weekend and evening work may be required for promotions and events. Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
Working alongside our Gym and Group Fitness Manager, this role will include:

Assisting in ensuring members are provided with an exceptional experience every time, such that they not only want to return, but want to expand their participation into other gym areas

developing and implementing effective and positive communication with clients via social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram, by responding in a timely manner in order to capture engagement and further create a cohesive gym community

organising and executing gym initiatives, functions and promotions
-
assisting with the facilitation of the growth and development of the Group Fitness programme
-
cultivating the ultimate gym experience through personal interactions with members and participation in key events and promotions

providing assistance with gym retention

Are you eager to join a passionate, team-driven culture teaching a vital life skill?
We are seeking committed and enthusiastic people to join our dynamic and successful learn to swim team.
You must demonstrate a willingness to train. While a swimming background is preferable, it is not essential. Any teaching, working with children, or drama experience is an advantage.
Northern Arena has a comprehensive Learn to Swim induction program followed by ongoing onsite training with opportunities to progress to teaching babies (2–36 months), teaching technical strokes, and squad levels in the future.
You must be:

able to work Part-Time

teach children from the ages of 3 through to 11 in the water

available a combination of days and times Monday to Friday from 9:00 am- 12:30 pm and/or 3.20 pm – 5.50 pm & one weekend day (Saturday and/or Sunday 8.30 am – 2.30 pm)

Gym Floor Instructor
We are a busy Gym and Learn to Swim Fitness facility located in Silverdale, North Auckland and we are looking for a part time Gym Floor Assistant to join our dynamic gym team. As a Gym Floor Instructor, you are the face of the gym! You will be responsible for supporting and serving gym members, prescribing, and delivering exercise programs, as well as taking care of the gym floor and assisting group fitness trainers.
This would be an ideal position for someone with;
-
A certificate in personal training or currently studying towards a fitness related course.

Looking for a platform to start/grow their PT business.

Great customer service skills.

Genuine passion for health and fitness

A positive and enthusiastic attitude, initiative, and the ability to work independently.

Current First Aid certificate an advantage
PLEASE NOTE: The facility operates 7 days a week. Hours range from 4.45am start to 9pm weekdays, Saturday 6:00am-6:00pm and Sunday 8:00am-6:00pm finish. Current shifts available are mornings & evenings plus week day cover. Flexibility required.

Customer Experience Specialist
The role of the customer experience specialist at Northern Arena Gym is to ensure a smooth and consistent experience across all touchpoints and at all stages of the member’s journey.
The customer experience specialist will be responsible for keeping track of customer journeys and interacting with customers across multiple channels and platforms. This includes creating exceptional brand and buying experiences for a customer or a prospect, across touchpoints – both digital and physical. To be able to do so, one must demonstrate strong product knowledge along with an ability to efficiently interact with customers, understand their buying journeys and pain points. An initial task will include the mastering of, followed by the transition to, the new software and management system.
This part time parental leave position will also include assisting the sales team with walk ins, touring prospective members, answering membership enquiries and assisting with administrative tasks.
To be successful you will need to:
